Medical/technological/scientific inaccuracy.

Like, okay, I know I should cut non-scientists some slack but I just... I just fucking can't. I'm sorry. It throws me right out of it every time and all I can think is "WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST GOOGLE IT."

Your ultracool badass CDC epidemiologist is walking around without protective gear in an area that might be contaminated! They just fucking touched their hands when they removed their gloves! They TOUCHED A DOOR HANDLE BARE HANDED AAAAAAHHHHHH

OMG, you shouldn't need gloves to touch the door handle. You're supposed to be taking your gloves off when you're done sciencing and washing your hands before you leave the lab. Take pity on the people who have to wash your floors and take out your trash -- they use the doorknobs too!

You missed the part about potentially contaminated facility. They shouldn't be touching anything without protective gear.

Contrary to TV portrayals, you're not going to catch something from a doorknob unless a) it's grossly contaminated -- like someone threw up on it or something, b) your hands are cut/chapped/covered with eczema, or c)you don't wash your hands when you're done playing with the science stuff and stick them in your eyes or on your food.

Of course, if you're dealing with major biohazard/bioterrorism/"twelve monkeys" level contamination, you're probably going to be in a bunny suit, minimum, and in the field that usually includes having your gloves duct-taped to your cuffs.
