Tough call between "Take on me" and "Come on Eileen." Classics.

On the more obscure side, I love "Groove is in the heart" and "Native New Yorker."

I love Come on Eileen too.

I had to look up Groove is in the Heart because I thought it was done by the B-52s! I don't remember if I ever knew it wasn't them. They have a similar sound.

Dexys Midnight Runners is not strictly speaking a one hit wonder - they had a number one in the UK from their first album already when Come On Eileen was released. Also, the reason they never had a number one again is mostly because Kevin Reynolds is a contrarian dickhead who refused to release a single from their next album. Also Dexys are really good and I like them a lot so sorry about nerding about.

Is this the former BoiRosslyn?!

Haven't heard "Native New Yorker", but yes to the other three songs. Particularly "Come On Eileen" and "Groove is in the Heart". So fun.

Do you watch One Hit Wonderland with Todd in the Shadows, by any chance?

Not in a very long time. Blip player stopped working on my ancient computer, and by that point I think Todd and Kyle were the only producers I was still watching regularly. So I saw he did the first two, but would have named them here even if he hadn't.

Did he do either of the other two? I'd love to know more about Odyssey. But Blip hasn't worked in over 2 years.

He's on youtube now, too! He did Groove is in the Heart, and, like you said, the first two, hence why I asked; a record of 3/4 is more then a coincidence. :D

But yeah, he's on youtube now, and still doing movies.

A-ha were most definitely not not one hit wonders! And yes I had a childhood crush on Morten Harket. They even did a bond theme (ok it wasn't that good but still)
