Nightmares are very much and adult problem, mine tend to be about things I'm worried about and they set off my anxiety pretty badly.

They say trying to take down your stress level can help, but I've never felt like I could ever stop nightmares, even if I'm coping pretty well during the day my mind just may fuck me over at night.

Well, I mean, that kind of makes sense, to me? Coping with stress isn't the same as reducing it. The stress is still there and so it makes sense itd affect your dreams.

It makes sense but it also makes me feel helpless in a way because even if I'm doing what I need to do, my brain may still hate me.
