If they're persistent it might be due to your sleep cycle or breathing not being as it should be. Maybe talk to your doctor about a sleep study?

I have night terrors. The fun wake up scream crying 100% convinced that I still have blood all over me because I watched someone die kind. Apparently I've gone back to sitting up and having conversations with nobody in my sleep again too, or maybe I never stopped. More often than not I have something ruining my sleep.
