The Middleman. It was on the wrong network to actually get watched, but it was so cute and fun.

Helix. It was a bizarre ride that wasn't afraid to go off in strange directions. It was also nothing like the show the ads marketed it as. Oops.

The Middleman was so fun. I don't think I've ever seen a show that was so literally and so dramatically 3 or 4 years ahead of its time.

Also, it's largely responsible for my Forever Natalie Morales Crush, so that's something else in its favor.

Omg Helix. <3 Though Sarah made me angry for how dumb she could be so often. "Oh no, I am locked in this room! If only this door was not made entirely of windows and I could escape!"

HELLO ANON, ILU! I have such love for this stupid little show nobody cared about.

The obvious comparison to make about Helix is to John Carpenter's The Thing, but that's just a starting point. To me, Helix has much more thematically with Orphan Black. Especially with Orphan Black's most recent season- Helix's tease for the S3 we never got + BrightBorn, and something about the history of Neolution revealed at the end of the season. Not saying exactly for spoilers, but suffice it to say that I've long thought there should be an epic crossover fic between the two.
