*googles* Oh. Jesus Christ that's stupid. And as a person who's prone to ear infections, the idea makes me cringe.

Yep. Most people can just warm water and a bulb syringe.

Ew, no. I do not want water in my friggin' ear.

My daughter has a friend who did the ear candle thing and it really worked for them (she was grossed out by all the wax that came out).

I'd rather that than water, but i'll stick to my q-tips, thank you.

Ear candles actually don't make wax come out of ears, though. In fact, afaik no one's been able to prove they do ANYTHING. Ear candles are designed to LOOK like a bunch of stuff came out of your ear, but its just melty candle wax stuff from the packaging.

Basically all ear candles do is maybe burn you or injure your inner ear with heat.

Nah. Ear candles don't work for anyone. The wax that comes out is not from your ears, it's just the candle itself-- burn an ear candle on a candle holder and the exact same thing will happen. What's more, that melting wax can seriously damage your ear drum, so preferring ear candles over water is a little foolish on your part.

Water?! That's disgusting! I'll bathe in mud and bugs, thank you!
