People have been telling me to get a Facebook since about 2007 but no one has ever been able to give me a good enough reason for me to actually do it.

My job threatened to cancel my contract if I didn't get one and tell them what it was. I got one. I got one and gave them the screen name. Then they started complaining I never put anything on it. So every few days now I reach into my ass and pull some crap out of it and that seems to satisfy them. Never wrote a single true word there, not even by accident. The things I do for money...are also things I don't write about.

It's so basic!

You can read fake news, get mutually annoyed with right-wing cousins, and, um....

Same.

The "Groups" feature is a good way to coordinate large groups of people I've found. Though I imagine that could easily be done on another site too. It's just that more people are likely to have a Facebook account.

But other than that I usually ignore it.

Hahaha, YES. I technically have one but I haven't logged into it in about 8 years. I really should just delete it, honestly, but I don't know what the login info is anymore or even how to go about deleting the account.

FB is such a garbage website.

Most of my activity on there is actually Mum sending stuff to my page.

I would never get invited to things if I didn't have a facebook, which sucks, but it's how everyone I know communicates and have done it that way since college.

I have one but I barely use it, my DnD group uses it to coordinate stuff and that's the only time I'll go on it, otherwise I forget it's there.

I mostly use it for games and catching up on friends that I don't live near.

I use it to communicate with friends and family since my cell is a crappy pay as you go plan phone.

I also use it to enter contests, mostly from local businesses and ones posted on FreeStuffTimes. My latest win was two free tickets to a local company that has themed rooms you get locked in for an hour and have to solve puzzles to get out. I'm giving them to my cousin and her boyfriend for Christmas. I've won gift cards to grocery stores, free products, and tickets to events like the Southern Women's Show and to see Elton John in concert.
