Aw, OP :(. I understand how you feel.

I'm glad she proved so inspirational to you, though, and gave you some good life lessons as well. Hopefully you can continue to take all you learned from her and use that in your daily life going forward. Make it feel like she's still here in spirit, or something :).

I wasn't into Star Wars so she wasn't an icon to me for that... but I deeply respect how blunt and open she was about mental illness and her addictions, and it's helped me, too. It's a sad loss, OP. :(

The one episode she wrote for Roseanne is really good. Season 9, Arsinic and Old Mom. It also has Debbie Reynolds in it as Dan's mom.

Aw. This makes me so sad. Easily the saddest celebrity death for me. She was an amazing woman, and she will be missed.

Maybe it would help to have more Leia in your life.
I've been working my way through the Thrawn Trilogy books and Leia's plot is the most interesting to me. She's very strong, selfless and determined in it. I recommend picking them up.
