There was also a rant about how it was racist for Moana to be a Disney heroine without a love interest because that's only progressive when it's done with white heroines and if it's done with WOC it means you're "desexualizing" them.

And well, they do have a point! After all what recent, popular Disney movie had a white female main character without a love interest? Gee, I can't think of a single one!

I mean, I would count Hans if you're ignoring the fact that he was doing it purely to manipulate her and take over the country.

I'm not sure if you can count Kristoff if a) they don't really end up together (it's left as interpretation that maybe one day they will) and b) he wasn't really presented as a love interest except by his family (the trolls) and Olaf (for an act of true love) which didn't even end up being the Act of True Love anyway.

On serious note, we are not very white, at least in bigger cities and had few racist policies changed when teenage girls in one school got pissed of their friends were being deported. Bloody settlers. Just like India was right to tell the English to fuck off back, so is Scotland. When you quit being occupiers and we can control immigration from your country on our own national terms, then we can start to say you are welcome. Until then you are settlers, occupiers, and colonialists. You just being there is an act of aggression.

Hmm, I remember seeing 'White settlers go home' spray-painted on old croft/button ben houses beside roads when I was little. Why should I have suffered nastiness directed at me just because Aberdeen and the rest of Scotland couldn't supply all the helicopter pilots and other skilled workers that were suddenly needed for the oil industry in the late 70s/early 80s? Besides, only 2 generations back the majority of my family were from either Scotland or Ireland, and my surname is a Scottish one - it was just my accent that singled me out. How is that any justification for unpleasantness to a child, or even an adult? Did you hear about the girl who was assaulted in Aberdeen because someone heard her speak with an English accent?

Good grief, I hope your post was somehow sarcastic. You do realise that Scotland wasn't conquered into union with England, right? If this comment was meant in earnest then you are no better than what all the Remainers call Brexiters - nasty, prejudiced and stupid.
