Well, in my conservative town, the fact that I don't worship at the altar of Donald Trump is an unpopular opinion... but it's not one here (fortunately), so I don't think it counts.


On the confession end, I didn't really know several of the celebrities people were collectively mourning were. Not that it made me apathetic, but I seriously wondered what was wrong with me that I was going "who?" while everyone else on facebook was crying.

I think it's normal not to get every pop culture reference, and celebrity deaths are...a pop culture reference.

Even the ones I got, well, mileage varies. George Michael meant something to me as a young person in a way that Prince didn't, but I understand why it would be the other way around for more people.
