Erwin Smith. He was one of the most interesting and compelling characters of the series. It doesn't help that his death was really drawn out and ultimately not even about him.

The I did get a lot of satisfaction of watching Eruri fans lose their shit. A lot of them have been pretty awful to one of my favorite ships.

And it shouldn't have even happened. There was a really blatant solution to the situation they were in that didn't require everyone to die in forced, pointless deaths.

That made me sad, but at the same time he already had been through hell and back so I can't blame Levi for deciding what he did. Was it heartbreaking? Totally. But understandable too.
