I kind of agree but I also think there's a place for some bigger rare pairs. It's hard to match people with the rarest pairings so having one pairing that doesn't have much fic in terms of Star Wars total but it more likely to have a few writers is a good safety-net. I just wish authors would try their hands at some of the rarer pairings first. It really depends on the prompts though. Some pairings need to be sold for others to see it, and there's at least some canon for this pairing.

There were still a bunch of super rare pairings written and there was an effort to write 2 fics for everyone, which upped the chances of rare pairs getting written, so I think the exchange still accomplished what it set out to do.
