Yeah I'd have to agree. They've basically gone, "Oh my god look, this thing was popular with BL fans, lets take out the gross gay and capitalize on this with normal people!"

Except it was based on a book with the same name, same plot and same pairing made on 2015.

Proof? Because I'm an avid book reader and have never fucking heard of this book, it's that obscure.
