Everyone has their own quirks and pet peeves, yours just happens to be swearing!

I'm starting to dislike excessive swearing myself these days. I used to have a terrible potty mouth, but this summer I was waiting in line at a drive-thru with the windows down, listening to two women in the car behind me complaining about their boyfriends and a good 83% of their conversation was made up of some variations of the words "bitch," "ass," and "fuck." They sounded like complete morons. I realized I probably didn't sound much different, so I stopped swearing entirely. It's been a fun challenge and the longer I do it, the less I like hearing other people swear. I mean, they can talk however they want, obvs, and somehow I find the strength to live on, but they really do sound so stupid.

You're brave. Just wait for all the judgement about to fall on you as snobby, prescriptive, racist, classist, ableist probably, because making those assumptions about you, well that's apparently fine, but no way can anyone judge people for swearing, because Reasons.
