OP, I agree. Not to mention she dances around with half her ass hanging out, singing nasty lyrics about sex, and she gets called a 'good role model for girls'. Because as we all know, feminism is all about women being sex objects.

(I don't even mind if a woman wants to dance around with half her ass out. I just don't like the hypocrisy. Why is okay if Beyonce does it, but the fashion industry is pure evil?)

Nope, not a troll. Consider:

Beyonce (an attractive woman) dancing half naked on stage, for money = female empowerment.
A model on a magazine cover in a bikini, for money = anti-feminist, anti-woman, body shaming, etc.

How is that not hypocrisy?

a) Beyonce is choosing to have her ass hanging out, whereas the models are being presented passively for the consumption of others.
b) Beyonce doesn't look the same as 99% of the identikit models in bikinis.
