parents shouldn't abort/abandon/not want a low-functioning (apparently not the pc term anymore but dunno what the correct term is) autistic child and signed up for that responsibility when they conceived

having a kid who will never be independent, has to be supervised at all times, and will have terrifying temper tatrums that can be set off by tiny things especially as an adult are extremely difficult things for even professionals to deal with

i mean every person deserves love and respect and i dunno what a good solution here is

I think this is why people need to consider what they're prepared for when they decide to become parents. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Too many people go into it unprepared for bad things.

Of course, you realize that "deciding to become parents" may as well be read as "deciding to have PIV sex." Because, absent a sterile party, no birth control is 100 percent effective.
