I think this is why people need to consider what they're prepared for when they decide to become parents. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Too many people go into it unprepared for bad things.

Of course, you realize that "deciding to become parents" may as well be read as "deciding to have PIV sex." Because, absent a sterile party, no birth control is 100 percent effective.
