[Shaun the Sheep]

It would, but then they wouldn't be around to be hilariously evil any more.

Actually, maybe there has already been a taste of this karmic punishment. There's no confirmation that it's the same three pigs in every episode. Actually, there's some indication that it's not since they show varying degrees of friendliness and sympathy to the sheep (mostly Timmy) from episode to episode.

Things to ponder...

And do pigs really have any use on a farm that isn't being raised for slaughter? Sheep can make wool, cows can make milk, chickens can lay eggs... but what else are pigs for?

(Anonymous) 2017-01-12 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Pigs have no purpose.

You can feed them scraps? They eat lots of stuff, and are less sexually aggressive than goats. And they're pretty smart, so they could do some of the same stuff dogs do, in theory. But a lot of them really are just there to make pork.

Despite the press, goats really won't eat everything, but pigs pretty much will, but yeah, aside from being (very smart) garbage disposals, and I suppose helping to turn over compost heaps or fallow fields depending on what's in them that's edible, pigs are for eating. Unless you train them to hunt truffles or something, but then how many truffle hunting pigs does one person need?

(Anonymous) 2017-01-12 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
nayrt - And most truffle hunters these days prefer dogs, who are less likely to eat the truffles themselves.

I'd also be up for karmic justice bbq ribs or grilled pork chops!

(Great secret, OP!)

This is a wonderful secret. Shaun the Sheep fandom!!! (I didn't know there was one, but it's a fun show, so yay!)
