Guy with girl after the girl's said no once. I know IRL people change their mind, but I just can't with the Dipper/Wendy fanshipping and etc.

I hate the 'I'm cruel to you because I love you' too.

"I fell in love with you as a small child and self-groomed myself to be your perfect lover" is a HUGE squick too. Like I knew someone who went on and on about how she loved the idea of Prince Naveen's younger brother falling in love with Lottie and making himself into the perfect prince for her so that once he was old enough he'd be her ideal lover and I just... NOPENOPENOPEd really hard. So a lot of Moffat's Doctor Who stuff is a big ol' NO.

The only time I've ever seen option #3 done well was in Level E, where she ended up pretty effing awesome. The girl knew that her betrothed was kind of a nutter and a selfish jerk and he'd never like her or respect her unless she outfoxed the hell out of him... so she studies, and plans, and plots, and then unleashes this amazing can of whoop-ass on him. It's beautiful to watch. And she's a total badass.

But overall, yeah, I find it skeevy as well :X
