That's really fascinating. You could almost say that the pattern is seeing strong female characters with radical physical agency who can also attain romantic happiness - on other words, maybe the kind of narrative you like specifically has to do with resolving the perceived tension between those two ideas?

But I guess that doesn't get into why you're not into male characters.

Maybe, but it doesn't seem to be narrative-dependent at all. It's basically, "I like her, for X reasons. She likes him/her. She should be with him/her, because that would make her happy."

So...I guess my kink is...making strong, attractive women happy?
