That's the worst. I still have an OKC and I used to use it a lot - met some amazing women through it! I loved how it felt a little less sleazy and really tried to get you do look at personality and compatibility, and you could even use it just to meet friends. But I know what you mean, when you're trying to keep the conversation going and you get the minimum possible response, or responses that don't further the conversation. It's one thing to say, well, they probably just aren't into you - but I feel like half the time, these people were the ones who reached out to me first. And I agree, I'd rather they not reply at all, I don't take it personally, and anyway, you can always wonder if maybe the person just got busy with life or hasn't logged in for some reason. :P

I hate that Tinder is tied to Facebook. I do have a Facebook, but I didn't want to tie that account to Tinder. So I made a Facebook just for Tinder, that's completely blank except for a few photos.
