Re: Unpopular ships that you liked
Also, I think I'm about the only person on Earth who ships Ross Geller/Phoebe Buffay. There was a fanfic of them on AO3 at one point last year, but it's since been removed. ...I think I did find about 17 fics that are tagged Ross Geller, Phoebe Buffay on Fanfiction.net, at least a handful of which were meant to be romantic in nature, but I never got around to reading any of them.
There's also only one fanfic featuring Erlich/Gilfoyle, which I think is a shame because theirs is an interesting dynamic to explore.

(Anonymous) 2017-01-26 09:56 am (UTC)(link)And I say that as someone who actually didn't hate Chuck/Blair. I mean, they were toxic (especially Chuck), but at least they were interesting. And I did believe they truly cared about each other, in an extremely fucked up way.
But I loved the idea of Chuck/Blair being played like this big epic long game, and then the show just sort of veering naturally off from that so late in the game - taking the left turn you didn't even realize was there until it was right in front of you. It felt like a natural consequence of the characters growing up. They'd each found someone who complimented and balanced them - something they never would have been able to find in each other earlier on in the series when they were both so polarized against each other.
