No like, you wouldn't call a fox demon that was born with a dick and boobs, a trans woman. So if OP is into, for example, a fox demon that was born with a vagina and no boobs, you wouldn't refer to that as into trans men. In the exact way you don't call real life trans women dickgirls or futa, and you don't call real life trans men cuntboys.

OP might be into cuntboys, that's cool, whatever, but saying they're into "pre op transmen" is kind of offensive...

Exactly like saying someone who is into effeminate men is "into traps," or someone who is into "anime traps" is into femme men, if it's offensive to replace terms in one direction, it's not any better to replace it in the other direction.

Again though, the OP did not specifically mention anime, just fictional characters with a non-typical gender/genitalia combo.

But, it's likely not that, since the chronology is being into the non-cis combo of gender and genitalia, and THEN getting into furry art because it's more common there. So their default is not "fox demon with boobs and a dick". So, I'm pretty sure it is actually what I said.

I would be very hesitant to lump them all in the same category either way. IME most people into fictional character "dickgirls" and "cuntboys" who magically or fantastically have all their working bio body parts as natural bits are not necessarily attracted to real life trans people with which those things get a lot more complicated.

Plus, the removal of breasts counts as a surgery so a "pre-op trans man" would have the body of a cis woman which OP pointed out as not what they're into.

Want to add I see trans characters as fetishizing a real life condition and dickgirls/cuntboys/herms as fetishizing a fantasy condition. Like elf/dwarf fantasy porn isn't the same as average person/person with dwarfism porn.

Not casting moral judgement on either one, btw.

Agreed, and good comparison with the dwarf porn. Fantasy porn involving Dwarves which are magical race is totally separate from porn involving humans with dwarfism, that's for sure.

In furry porn I rarely ever see anybody fetishizing, to use kallandra's example, a furry that was born female but transitioned to male. Cuntboy, or ABO fic where the omegas have vaginas, is a whole separate genre from that with a lot less real-life inspired baggage and zero physical changes needed. Calling that "trans man fetishization" is kind of off.
