I can't be the only one who's noticed that the only people in here complaining about gay Lance ships are only whining about Klance, right? I'm not even in this fandom and this is so transparently "HOW DARE YOU SHIP MY RIVAL SHIP" as Katang vs Zutara.

People aren't really complaining about Klance, the problem is Klancers and their toxic attitude.

You can't really talk about people seeing Lance as gay/bi without bringing up Klance, since it's the juggernaut ship that comprises like, 70% of the fandom. The second most popular Lance ship is Hunk/Lance, which is absolutely tiny compared to Klance (less than 300 fics on AO3 at the moment, compared to over 5000 Klance fics). Most people who want Lance to be canonly gay/bi are people who also want canon Klance.

Wait, I forgot about Shiro/Lance, which has 500 fics. My point still stands. Discussion about Lance and his fandom will always involve Klance in some way.
