Writing help - appendicitis

(Anonymous) 2017-01-31 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
What's a good resource for how someone would feel/behave while developing appendicitis? I can find symptom lists no problem, but thinking things like "Is my character going to want to stay standing, lay down, sit up? Are they going to want to be very still or move because it hurts? Are they more likely to want to curl up or stay stiff?" I know about touch hurting, and the rebound effect.

Character is, like many, a young adult who's the type to play it off as nothing and try to push past a stomach ache until they can't anymore.
