Robert Downey Jr. did not get attractive to me until Iron Man. And I don't even think it's just the character. It's like...he grew into a face that never quite fit in the 80s and 90s.

this is exactly my feeling. ugly as sin as a young man, growing into his face ever more as he ages. He's not even attractive to me in like a sexy way, just...his face looks Right on him in a way that's very pleasing.

I did notice he has nice eyes in the close-up shots inside the suit, but that's about it. He looks like any other 50 something year old man to me.

I could maybe see Robert Downey Jr. back in his earlier days, but these days he looks very fake spray tan and dyed hair. I'd say the same for Johnny Depp.

To be fair, he's 53 now and he was more or less pulling off the not-ageing thing until a few years ago.
