Robert Downey Jr. did not get attractive to me until Iron Man. And I don't even think it's just the character. It's like...he grew into a face that never quite fit in the 80s and 90s.

this is exactly my feeling. ugly as sin as a young man, growing into his face ever more as he ages. He's not even attractive to me in like a sexy way, just...his face looks Right on him in a way that's very pleasing.

I did notice he has nice eyes in the close-up shots inside the suit, but that's about it. He looks like any other 50 something year old man to me.
