The Iron Heel too. Both of them very relevant to this situation we are finding ourselves in. It will be hard to choose between the two.

Hillbilly was a good read. It's available on scribd as an audiobook, by the way. The $8/month fee for 1 audio book and 3 other books is pretty good compared to full price. (Not to say the service is perfect but I've read a lot of great books through it. Usually cancel my membership when I'm very busy, though.)

I vote for closing recs for this month, we've already got more than enough to put to a vote.

Honestly if I'd realized it would be this big I would have closed them today instead of tomorrow! I am going to stick with my plans but I'll encourage people to save them for next month (more chance of being chosen anyway), and I think next month I'll impose a cap or a one-per-person rule, and turn on cooldowns. I'm excited about all the response though!
