The moment the show went from "something to leave on in the background" to "one of my favorite shows of all time" was the first Galentine's Day episode where Leslie and Ron are sitting at the table together reflecting on Leslie's recently broken relationship, and Ron is explaining exactly why the guy wasn't right for her. I knew if the show could take two polar opposite characters like them and give them a harmonious, heartfelt scene like that, it could do anything. :D

Also the episode where Ron is trying to avoid Leslie's birthday surprise all episode, and he finally resigns himself to enduring it, but the birthday surprise is his favorite steak dinner alone in a locked office with everything else he likes, because Leslie is the very best and gives people exactly the perfect gift.
