She did successfully commit crimes as Kira, AND lure Light to a public place without ever once being discovered by the police, L, or Light (That is, until L suspected her later). She even had a series of steps to keep her actions as Kira from being traced back. Didn't she also have a part in some of the later schemes? At the very least, she was able to correctly deduce several of Light's plans even only knowing her role in them, which was more than anyone else other than L.

Well, in the end, the way she acted around people made me think her stupid. Also her being blind to Light being a dick because of her infatuation.

She's certainly socially stupid, I'll agree with that wholeheartedly. I still think some of it's an act, but not the stuff with Light. She's an absolute dumbass when it comes to light.
