My favorite episode is one where Kyan talks to a guy about giving up the toupe and being honest about himself and happy with who he was. It was SUCH an emotional moment and I've loved it ever since, even when it got super gimmicky and all about gift grabs. I'll always love it for what it did for that guy.

There were a couple eps like that on 'What Not to Wear'. They made a couple women really see how beautiful they were *without* plunging necklines and butt-baring skirts or totally shapeless, muffling clothing designed to hide in. Sometimes i cried!

the only eps I ever saw of WNTW they were just being bitchy and nasty to the women.

I never saw any ep where they did that.

I remember that one. It was good.

I also remember the one with the postal employee who had long hair and a big beard, and when the shaved him and cut his hair HE LOOKED SO MUCH LIKE DAVID BOWIE IT WAS UNCANNY, but you would have never guessed it, for all the hair.

THAT'S MY OTHER FAVORITE!

He did an interview later where he talked about how mentally fucked up he was after the episode. Having the hair and beard taken away, the way people reacted - he went through a spiral of "what the fuck was so wrong with me before." I felt bad for him after reading that.
