I'll read anything and don't really have preferences, but I think Shawn Spencer leans more towards submissive & I think the context of their marriage, Monica Geller & Chandler Bing engage in a bit of dom/sub stuff wherein Chandler's the dom. See: Monica's nickname for him being Mr. Big while they're dating, and also Monica's OTT high strung personality where Chandler admits that she's high maintenance, but that that's okay because "I kind of like maintaining you." So I think more often than not, he takes the reigns in the bedroom. I don't really read fic for F.R.I.E.N.D.S., but that's what I envision when I think about their relationship. I think Monica's sexually submissive as a release from being so dominant in every single other area of her life.

Anon, I could write you a whole essay on how I think Joey Tribbiani is bad at sex, based partially on that line but also using other canon evidence. I did so last night after discussing Monica's kinks with a friend.

(Specifically her interest in Santa. Friend thinks it's because Santa's an authority figure with a grading scale but no real power of her life and I think it's because she has a feederism kink. I think we settled on it being a mix of both.)
