Actually, GWB was already making horrible changes to the EPA and environmental regulations. He had started a lot of shit before 9/11, but that event gave him a lot of power and "good will" so he could do a lot more. Also, Cheney was evil and always would have been.

But I do agree with the general sentiment that we need to move on from 9/11 and forget this "NEVER FORGET" bullshit. America has a problem with moving on, and this is just one more event in history that proves it. We are a country of spoiilt grudge holding children.
