Scrubbing your hair with baking soda once a week or so. I feel it gets my hair extra clean and adds volume.

Do you mix the baking soda into water to make a paste, and then work it into your hair? Asking because I might give it a try.

Hair's already wet, I just put it on my head. I have very short hair though, so if you have long hair, maybe you'll have better results if you dampen the soda a little? So yeah, I just scrub it in (I always shed a lot in the shower because my hair's crazy thick) and then shampoo my hair like normal. It will make tons of lather, so just make sure to rinse well.
