Huh...Evans has a very expressive face, though. I think he deliberately plays Steve as more contained, but I would not say his face is not expressive. As for the hairline/uncanny valley - I think the character is supposed to be slightly on the uncomfortable end of perfect, so it works for me. I think the deliberately make his make-up accentuate that, too.

He is definitely supposed to be 'perfect'. That is what they were aiming for with the super serum. And several comments are made about it in Civil War.

Yeah,and Steve is like supposed to be aware of that, so I'm betting Evans plays it that way.

yeah I think he's excellent in the role (and plays 'perfect' sort of the same way that Christopher Reeve did as Superman)
