I hate that TV writers think we find CPR undignified or something and so they are basically training viewers not to DO anything to help anyone who needs it.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-04 09:52 am (UTC)(link)In the screenshot, she was already "dead". Hotch had checked her pulse and made sadface. He should have immediately put her down and started CPR and not stopped until the paramedics took over.
You start mouth-to-mouth as soon as they stop breathing. If their pulse stops, you start CPR. You don't make a judgment call on what killed them. The paramedics don't even make judgement calls.
More folks should take CPR classes, I think.
