I'm sure it's for dramatic reasons but it still irks the hell out of me that most shows don't even try to resuscitate people who die before the ambulance arrives. I really liked Erin! She at least deserved some token CPR, you guys.

If they kill his mom off somehow, I'm going to be so mad. I like her, too, and I don't want her to die.

I don't mind this storyline-it's interesting, albeit a little unsettling with the extreme lengths Reid's going to to help his mom, but I get the desperation, and having watched a parent struggle with health issues (in my case, though, it was physical health issues instead of mental ones), I can relate to the struggle and frustration here, so it's kind of cathartic in that way for me.

But yeah. I'm so worried this storyline won't have a happy ending for his mom, and I really want them both to make it out of this darkness all right, or relatively okay, at least. This family needs something good to happen to them at some point, damnit.

And I totally understand your wanting a happy storyline for these characters in general. The team has enough stress through their job. It'd be nice if their personal lives were a little brighter in comparison.
