Ha, second anon to rec it! So obvious, but I honestly never thought about it. Maybe because while I genuinely enjoyed Voyager I remember really hating the fandom. I think I'm going to go back and watch Deep Space 9 and see if I can get hooked into that.

I was a big Voyager fan back in the day, but maybe too young to get into the fandom? I read lots of fic and that was pretty much it. DS9 is the only one I never really watched. It started slow and by the time it got good it also had a very serialized plot. So it was hard to see an ep here and there. I only saw TOS for the first time a few years back but was surprised at how well it held up. Yes, some of it is cheesy and the effects are ridiculous, but the writing is amazing most of the time. TNG got me hooked when I was about 7, which means it's special to me even though I don't remember all that much of it anymore. ENT isn't brilliant, but also not nearly as bad as people claim it is.
