Good exercise music

(Anonymous) 2017-03-05 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I like songs that are catchy and have good beats. I also get really into songs that are a bit "darker". Songs in minor key, songs that are a little angry or scary, all while holding a good tune. I just find that to be the best type of song to freak out on a treadmill/lift weights to.

For example, current songs on my exercise playlist are things like, "Believer" by Imagine Dragons, "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" by The Offspring, "Come With Me Now" (Kongos), "Heaven Knows" (The Pretty Reckless), etc. Does that give a sense for the type of song I like?

I swear I'm not an angry person or anything, I just find that sort of music way more exciting to run to. Recs are appreciated!

That's funny, Come With Me Now by the Kongos is on my workout list, too. Here's some other stuff on my workout playlist:

You're welcome! Man, I was typing that list out thinking I sound like I'm trying to be 2edgy4U, but I just like the way they sound.

Oh, and also maybe check out some of the Five Nights At Freddy's fansongs? They tend to be fast paced and dark, but they're also a little more electronic so it can be hit-or-miss.

My life when I realized the line in Vindicated was "I am flawed." not "I am flood."

IT MADE SENSE TO ME! Especially when the next line was, "But I'm cleaning up so well."
