nayrt but while he's not a dull character, he's definitely not the most fleshed out, either. He functions quite a bit on being a hostile tsundere, and while he's got development and layers and all, he's still largely a bit of the "unnecessarily angry teenager" stereotype.

Victor doesn't seem one-note to me, but he also didn't seem to undergo any vast personality change or character dissection either. He has a few more emotional character moments and some explanation of his motivations, and I think he reveals more character than critics like to claim, but I also don't think he was totally explained as a person. It felt like there was a lot left unrevealed, whether intentional or not, so if there is a season 2 I'd hope it would look more deeply at him.
