the only edition of "my royal past" i could find costs $43, plus $23 in shipping, used. so maybe that makes it not book club material.

The title is "My Royal Past." Princess Theodora Louise Alexina Ludmilla Sophie von Eckermann-Waldstein and Cecil Beaton were both the authors, though the former may have not quite existed.

Books are really stupidly expensive.
