I'm glad you have Pokemon to yourself, OP. I've been in a similar situation - only I had a huge falling-out with an IRL friend (who was my closest friend for 7 years), and she had been active in a project we had worked on together and then she backed out of... it's been very difficult for me to purge her emotionally so that I can be happy at what we achieved together while still acknowledging how shitty she ended up being.
And purging her completely from my ongoing project, because I just refuse to let her ruin that for me.
But it was so hard. So very very, hard. I really am happy for you that you have something untouched.
