Unfortunately this happens to a lot of people, with or without the cancer, so I'm not sure how it's overly relevant?

She can't work because she developed cancer and went through treatment, how is that difficult to understand lol

Nayrt

That was not clear at all. Lots of people go through cancer treatment and are still able to work, often at the same job they had before. My mother did it 3 times. I'm sorry about the situation your grandparents are in, but I was confused, too.

nayrt, but how is it difficult to understand that ayrt is pointing out that being unable to "afford to remain in her living situation...happens to a lot of people, with or without the cancer". Yes, she had cancer and couldn't work, and now she can't afford her past lifestyle. When you can't afford your current lifestyle, whether it's from loss of work or overspending or whatever, you have to downsize, just like all of the rest of us.

Nayrt, but how is it difficult to understand that getting cancer, or experiencing any other debilitating circumstances outside of your control that prevent you from working is completely different to having to downsize because you're overspending. .

That's not the point anon above you was trying to make either.

Good grief.
