67. Whining to someone cosplaying a character about how much you hate said character is ridiculously stupid and immature. Appreciate the costume for what it is. It's not an excuse for some fanbrat to come up and tell someone how much they hate the character they're cosplaying. Christ.

Because I hate it when people will become interested in something just because there's gay sex in it. It kind of cheapens things for the rest of us who actually like something because of what it is. I see this all the time when there is something slashy in media. You suddenly get people interested in it because of the homoeroticism. I love some yaoi, slash, whatever as much as anyone, but it's hardly a defining point in whether or not I'll like something and people who do base their enjoyment factor on whether there's any man snogging in it do tend to worry me. I like slash because I enjoy relationships between men, but likewise I enjoy femmeslash and het, the fact that a series might involve some form of homoeroticism isn't going to define something for me. I hate it when people are all, 'Oh, I'd watch it if it were two men.' or 'Yeah, I'm watching it for the gay factor.' or whatever.

I wouldn't care if there was some gay sex, in fact I think it would be interesting ... however, the OP made it clear that they weren't interested in the series because the Bond girls were girls and not men. Personally, I have a problem with that because they're basing everything on whether or not there's 'boy smexing' and that's beyond stupid.

Yeah, I would find it pretty damn hot myself, but again basing ones interest in the series solely on that worries me to go back to your initial question.

Pretty much. I was more or less raised on James Bond and while I wouldn't be against Bond having a male love interest because it would prove to be interesting and I think he and Felix already had some serious guy love going, not watching the series for that reason alone is ridiculous. I mean, Vesper was unique. She was the girl who broke Bond and made him the bastard we've grown to love.
