Ew.

Stop supporting shitheads because they're artistic or whatever. Rapists and child molesters DO NOT DESERVE AWARDS. This goes for all of them, not singling a single one out.

Just no.

He isn't a rapist or a child molester.

He groped a sleeping woman

He might not be a rapist or a child molester, but he still took advantage of someone, and he deserves to be held accountable for his actions

And not just groped a sleeping woman, but snuck into her bed while she was sleeping and wrapped himself around her and groped her, then got physical and angry when she woke up and was shocked and angry and told him to leave.

Yes, by a court of law. Not by the Oscars.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-23 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
So that means they should be petted and awarded by the Oscars? After all, who are we to judge amiright. Who hasn't assaulted women???

(Anonymous) 2017-03-23 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
NAYRT, but you're really running up that ladder of inference. AYRT said he should be held accountable before a court, not any of the statements you seem to be trying to put in their mouth.

His performance and how they judged it means he should be "petted and awarded", nothing else whatsoever.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-23 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
The oscars are never about how good the 'performance' is. They are political and always have been (ie they give the first black Muslim an Oscar after Donald Trump gets in? The actor is amazing but I still think he was given the award as a political gesture).

Your opinion, and its pretty insulting and racist of you to say that. I bet the actor would be pissed.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-23 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you!

It's this, more than anything, for me that was the final straw with the Oscars. They are so hypocritical. They all talk about being so 'left-winged', accepting all, wanting to change society for the better etc and then go and give assholes like this guy an award.
