18. I never actually thought of Metis as bishounen, strangely enough. I think he looks good in a quirky way, though. That aside... um, I doubt you're being oppressed in this. And no, liking something with animal characters in it does not make you a furry. Does ANYONE know what "furry" means anymore? Anyway, you may be right, that animal webcomic may even be better. I have tons of webcomics I prefer to Honeydew Syndrome, and I love Honeydew Syndrome too. Of course, seeing as I've never heard of the other webcomic you prefer, it's kinda hard for me to say anything or even find out. Maybe a lot of people have just... never heard of it?
Less tl;dr this is not a "help help I'm being oppressed" situation. People will probably not care because you have your own opinions.

38. Oh man, I RELATE. I hate it when fandom/ships become like this. D: Exactly why does something have to be "canon" for it to be any good- and exactly when did the existance of people liking other pairings, canon or not, "threaten" your OTP? Grow up, fandumb. ):
46. Oh, hon. I hear this a lot. I feel it, sometimes (not "I'll never write as good," but seeing my friends get someone so in-character I'm afraid my attempts at doing so will fall short and be OOC). But whenever I hear it from anyone I know, it's always from one of the people whose writing I'm quite frankly amazed by, or love. So give yourself a chance as much as possible- it's hard, but there may be some people on your f-list who feel the same way about your writing in return.

52. ... Only comment I have to make is, WHY WHY WHY do people assume that anyone not making straight-A's through college is not smart? If the people who do can be dumb in special ways (and believe me, very smart people can be dumb in SPECIAL ways), then people who don't have an absolutely perfect record can be sharp or even brilliant in other areas.

61. Oh god, same here. IGNORING that the series is meant for kids, it's still pretty damn addictive, and even if the series is aimed towards a younger audience, the WORLD seems like it would be a pretty kickass place to actually live in. (:

Wait, wait, so because of ONE MUSIC FESTIVAL, that ran for THREE YEARS and you were NOT ACTUALLY COMPELLED TO, YANNO, ATTEND, you despise all female musicians immediately without giving them a chance? I'd... be more pissed about your sexism if I weren't way too busy being puzzled by how random it is.
78. I don't quite get the extent of the hate for that, myself. I know older married couples who have like a twelve year age difference- from what I've seen in fandom, a twenty-five year old having romantic interest in a sixteen year old, but not doing or planning anything sexual with him/her, makes them LAWL PEDO. Geez, guys, in twenty years they'll be thirty-six and and forty-five- there's not a huge age gap there. :/
79. I love what Hibari turned into in the Future Arc. I'm glad to see him calm and mature, to not really change like, at all, from who he was before but more grow into himself. And I think if you get inspiration from him to believe in yourself and try your hardest, more power to you. :>
