Re: Stories about people that were discovered

I'm not 100% sure, but there was a rather... unique individual in my fandom who may have also been the subject of a roommate horror story. Apparently this person was a jerk roommate, had crazy sexytimes in the bathroom with their boyfriend, and slacked off at work while secretly doing fandom stuff on company time. It's said this was the same person who changed their name legally to a character they claimed to have "soulbonded" to. I remember them being pretty stuck up about people in fandom. I don't just mean the occasional "this fanfic is crap," I mean reading a fic about their soulbond and then RAGING or expressing extreme butthurt about the writer's interpretation of said character. In addition, they'd do things like shit-talk a person who accidentally stumbled into the middle of a closed RP thinking it was open. Shit-talking them despite the fact the RPer had been gracious enough to apologize and bow out. They would also write fanfiction and post it online for sale... but supposedly got around the legal issue by only charging enough to break even with the site's fees. Can't remember what happened to them though.
