Aang/Katara because of their ages and respective maturity levels in the series/comics.

Yes to this! I like their "relationship" a lot, I honestly did, just not as something romantic. I was really disappointed the series went that direction. I wouldn't even be so outraged if it was revealed they got together later in life, but it was just so... tacked on at the end of the series.

Like they even lampshaded a bit that Aang was too young and still acted immaturely and they STILL got together at the end?

I have less problem with this in the comics because he does grow up a while still being fun loving, but in the final book, no, not so much.

I couldn't buy any of the couples in Avatar or Korra, except Sokka/Yue and only because of how brief it was by necessity (I don't think a lasting relationship between them would have been realistic or interesting).

I can't even get into Korra because all I hear is ship ship ship. I'm not interested in that.

The end of Avatar was super awkward when they got together.

Yeah, I would be okay with it if they had grown up a bit or gotten together post-series, but right in the series finale was a bit awkward to watch.

Haha yeah that show was so stupid on so many levels. Sorry fans, it was mediocre television.
