My time off request was approved, so I have a long weekend this upcoming weekend.

Car passed its MOT, but only just and it still has a list of advisories that'll cost about a grand to fix. That is as close to good news as I can get right now.

My dad is down! And even if our plans didn't work for today, we still had a fun time together.

My tooth pain seems to be lessening, so that's good.

More importantly, my mom's procedure today went well and she's doing fine. And it seemed to help. Plus, my dad's back seems to be doing better (though my mother and I keep having to remind him not to over do it and re-injure it).

Also, I've been watching this interesting 4-part History Channel thing on Russia during the time of the Tzars. On part 2 now. Really well done and interesting so far.
