I just want to say that I hate April Fools Day and all the dumbass bullying little "pranks" that jerks pull on it. Especially at my place of employment. If I had my way all those Heath Ledger Joker wannabes would be fired at the first mean spirited prank.

I dislike most pranks but I always like to watch for April fools jokes in the news or our local newspaper. There have been some real gems in the past and they are almost never mean spirited.

Car passed its MOT, but only just and it still has a list of advisories that'll cost about a grand to fix. That is as close to good news as I can get right now.

My tooth pain seems to be lessening, so that's good.

More importantly, my mom's procedure today went well and she's doing fine. And it seemed to help. Plus, my dad's back seems to be doing better (though my mother and I keep having to remind him not to over do it and re-injure it).

Also, I've been watching this interesting 4-part History Channel thing on Russia during the time of the Tzars. On part 2 now. Really well done and interesting so far.

A former friend lied to me about being unjustly wronged (when in fact she did exactly what she was accused of), leading me to hate someone who didn't deserve it for well over a month. Thankfully I didn't do anything to cause problems for said person, but I still feel really stupid and guilty about the whole thing.

I hope I don't hate myself too much tomorrow when I have to get up when it's still dark out and go to work. I guess I shouldn't have had a coffee popsicle three hours ago, or something--normally it would take a lot more caffeine to keep me awake. Maybe I'm just manic. I was supposed to order some stuff from amazon for my mom, but I think I'll leave it until I'm zombieing my way to work so I don't buy a bunch of extraneous shit because mania will do that. I have a crapton of flower bulbs and live plants to find garden space for that I bought during my last manic spree. Here's hoping I can aim at least a bit of the manic spree af homework tomorrow. Stupid caffeine. Stupid brain. Okay, time for bed.
